AirGate Modbus is a wireless industrial gateway from NOVUS, developed to expand and integrate Modbus RTU networks with reliability and security. As an IoT solution for Modbus RTU and wireless industrial automation, it uses the proprietary NOVUS-Air protocol (IEEE 802.15.4 wireless technology at 2.4 GHz), enabling RS485 network extension without cables and reliable communication up to 1000 meters line-of-sight, without depending on traditional IT infrastructure.
Designed for challenging industrial environments, AirGate Modbus is ideal for locations with cabling restrictions, high interference, or large physical distances between devices. Its compact structure (IP20) and 10–30 Vdc power supply enable quick installation without extra cabling, even in remote or hard-to-access areas.
With advanced data protection and AES-CBC-128 encryption for maximum security, the device ensures the integrity and confidentiality of transmitted data, even in critical environments.
